Course or Workshop 1: Conflict management strategies

Conflicts can be opportunities for growth but one tends to want to avoid conflict because of the unpleasant feelings it brings up. Disagreements for apparently insignificant issues can escalate to intense conflicts.

In business, conflicts are expensive, time consuming, lower productivity and affect employee’s health.

For: High and mid-level managers

Objetives: Be able to manage situations, difficult people effectively, in and outside the office.

Contents: How conflicts are generated. Types of conflicts. Identify your personal style in conflict management. Management of emotions and feelings.

Method: Combination of theoretical classes and practical exercises (written, role-play, etc.)

Course or Workshop 2: Stress management

We all experiment stress in higher or lesser degree. We live in a world full of changes and uncertainty, competitiveness, and a high value on ‘doing’ versus ‘being’.

Fortunately, Psychology offers many techniques and strategies to mitigate the effects of stress and to develop abilities to manage it.

For: High or mid managerial positions

Objetives: Learn to experience calmness and relaxation, sleep well, approach situations or tasks they have been avoiding, feel more comfortable socially, or handle stressful situations more effectively.

Contents: Stress, signs, symptoms and disorders. Relaxation and visualization techniques. Problem solving. Interpersonal skills. Depending on the duration of the course / workshop, more emphasis will be put on different contents.

Course or Workshop 3: Intercultural communication / management skills

Globalization is altering almost every profession. The increasingly diverse nature of societies requires professionals to be culturally adept at working with clients from diverse backgrounds.

For: Employees of multicultural business.

Objetives: Become familiar with concepts that help understand culture. Identify your own multicultural skills. Increase intercultural competencies. Reduce ethnocentrism. Content: Introduction to basic concepts. Intercultural barriers. Multicultural personality.
